I am sending warm wishes to all my dear readers. I hope you all are safe and healthy. Today I'm going to discuss some uncommon features of Gmail which are available for many years but are not known by most of us. So, let's start with the article.

Unsend emails automatically :

This feature is also called sending confidential emails. It is useful for sending emails that will be unsent automatically after the time you have chosen.

 Here are the steps for sending a confidential email:

• Go to the Compose option available and start a new email.
• The email writing box that appears on the screen will have the lock with a clock symbol at the bottom of the box.

• Click on that symbol, and another dialog box will appear.
• This box contains a drop-down menu named as 'Set Expiry.'
• This list contains different options, as shown in the below image.

• Select any one of the time, and your sent email will be invisible to the receiver after that time.
• There is another option that will allow you to keep a passcode for your email.
• So, if this option is ON, then an SMS passcode will be sent to the receiver that they need to enter while opening the mail.

Different Color of stars and icons:

You can place a colorful star for different categories of mail. This feature will help you to differentiate between important and insignificant mails. 

• Go to the settings icon on the top.
• Select show all settings.
• Then navigate to General settings.
• Scroll down until you see the option of stars.
• You will see different icons that you can drag and drop from 'not in use' to 'in use.'
• Then scroll at the end of the page and select the 'save changes' option.

• Now, by clicking many times on the star icon present beside the email, it will change the color every time.
• You have to remember is the color of the star and to which category that mail belongs.
